Life Giving Life

The Recovery Project

We are here to help support you in your transition into long term sobriety
We are a safe place for individuals and families to come to for support throughout your recovery. Life Giving Life is based on the principle of one life saved from addiction can help another life be saved from addiction. We provide peer to peer support on both an individual level as well as peer led groups daily. We also have counselors available by appointment for both individual, marriage and family counseling.

WE CARE

Jamie McKibben, Founder, Board of Directors, Substance Abuse Counselor

“It is so important that we all start talking about mental health and the importance of getting help! It is so sad that there is such a negative stigma around getting help whether it be for substance abuse or any other life struggle. I want to do my part in ending this stigma by providing the community with a safe place to go when someone is struggling without feeling judged but instead welcomed with open arms”.

Kirsti Reese, Board of Directors, Licensed Professional Counselor, M.A, LPC

Kirsti Reese earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She is in the process of completing her PhD in Counseling Education from Sam Houston State University. She has worked at a Child Advocacy Center counseling children, adolescents, and caregivers who have experienced various forms of trauma and abuse as well as working with Redeemed Ministries working with survivors of Human Trafficking in Houston, Texas.
